North of Never is a hard rock/alternative metal band formed in February 2020. The band consists of a trio of songwriters - Michael ‘MJ’ Johnson, Mike O’Campo and Erik Seime. Their music has undertones of Sevendust, Red, Periphery, Breaking Benjamin and even the likes of Fallout Boy. While many bands form locally, North of Never formed online. While Mike and Erik have been writing together for many years in their other band Our Waking Hour, the duo decided to form another project to explore a different sound. After linking up with MJ by way of a music forum, the trio immediately hit it off and North of Never was off and running.

Many bands take years to develop their sound and really mesh stylistically, North of Never has accomplished this in a few short months. While the current global pandemic has stopped many bands in their tracks, North of Never is charging forward. Their music is completely self produced, mixed and mastered. The ability to work remotely has enabled the band to stick to a frequent release schedule of every 30-45 days. North of Never is planning on releasing their first full length album sometime in the Fall of 2020.
